Is Hell the Place of Satan?

Now, let me point out that Satan’s headquarters, as stated here, are in the heavenlies.

We have a lot of language in the church which speaks about Satan as if he were in hell. Hell is a place of confinement for wicked persons below the surface of the earth. My comment on that is, it would be nice if Satan were in hell, but he isn’t.

He’s very much at large. He’s very active, and his kingdom is in the heavenlies.
