Mission and Impact
Derek Prince Ministries has been engaged in Kenya since 1957. Derek and Lydia Prince first went to Kenya where Derek was the principal of a teacher training college in western Kenya. During their time there, they influenced many lives for the Kingdom and some of Derek's students are still connected with the ministry today.
Our team runs numerous Bible Schools and distributes Bible teaching resources. Bible school teaching programs are a 3-year-course with 6 to 10 days of class every month and these are held in cities, towns and remote areas. The students include church leaders and individual Christians, while some are peasant farmers who pay their tuition with their maize and beans harvest.
