Living in Grace

And then, if you look on in Romans chapter 8 to verse 14,

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.”

How do we live as sons of God? By keeping a set of rules? No. By what? By being led by the Holy Spirit. That’s the only way we can live as God’s mature, grown-up children.

Now, turning on to Galatians, and you’ll find there’s a lot of correspondence between Romans and Galatians. Galatians chapter 5, Galatians 5 and verse 18,

“But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.”

See that? How can you become a son of God? By being led by the Spirit. But if you’re led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. You cannot have it both ways. You have to make a choice.
