Verse 14,
“For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin.”

“For what I am doing, I do not understand.”
“For what I will to do, that I do not practice.”
“But what I hate, that I do.”

Right? And, and Paul says, “I don’t understand it. Here I am, I’m really wanting to do the right thing.”
I can remember months when I struggled with this problem. I didn’t understand why these things enslaved me.
In the end, I decided to be a good slave. That’s all. I decided I won’t fight. I’ll just give way.
But God, in His mercy, decreed otherwise.
