Mission and Impact
Derek Prince Ministries Nigeria is translating and distributing Derek Prince’s Bible teaching primarily into Hausa, the vernacular language of over 50 million people in Nigeria alone. Translation is beginning in the Yoruba language too.
Our key activities in Nigeria include spreading the Gospel, discipleship training, and providing spiritual mentorship to local communities. Utilizing resources that range from free Bible teaching materials to personal guidance, we endeavor to deepen understanding, faith, and devotion among Nigerian Christians.
The impact of our ministry's work in Nigeria is seen in the strengthened Christian communities, increased biblical literacy, and the spiritual empowerment of individuals nurtured through our activities. As part of this outreach, Derek Prince’s Self-Study Bible Course became a cornerstone in a literacy program for women in rural northern Nigeria. This program trains 1,500 women annually, equipping them with both Bibles and the Self-Study Bible Course, thereby fostering literacy and spiritual growth among the participants.
