Day 163: The Essence of Endurance

By faith, he [Moses] forsook Egypt, not fear the wrath of the king, for he endured [how?] as seeing him who is invisible. That I believe is really the essence of enduring. How do you see that which is invisible? My answer is faith. Faith is a sure conviction concerning things not seen. And if you and I are going to hold out the unseen world has got to be more real to us than the seen, otherwise we’ll fall in love with the world system. We’ll turn out back on the unseen realities of God’s kingdom.
