The Plumb Line

In Isaiah 28 and verse 17 the Lord is speaking and He says, “Also I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the plummet [or the plumb line].” Righteousness is the plumb line. Anything that diverges from the plumb line is unrighteous, it is sin. You don’t have to be a theologian. It’s very clear. There’s just two possibilities in our lives -- sin and righteousness. Jesus said, “He will convict of sin, of righteousness, of judgment.”
