We are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus, unto good works which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. The Greek word translated workmanship poema, gives us the English word poem, and it suggests a creative masterpiece. We’re not just something that God turned out in a casual moment and we’re created for good works that God has before ordained for us to walk in them. If we realize that we’re a masterpiece I believe we’ll find the good work. But if we don’t value ourselves highly enough then we’re liable to throw ourselves away on second of third best.
