I will now outline these four facts which I believe set a standard for marriage. First, God decided Adam was to have a wife. Adam didn’t decide it, nor did his wife. Second, God formed Eve for Adam. Third, God brought Eve to Adam. And fourth, God determined the nature and purpose of their relationship. He established it before they ever got under way. Now I believe, suitably applied, those principles are still valid today for God’s children.
