Faith that is not associated with, or proceeds out of, repentance is a counterfeit faith. It is not the faith of the New Testament. From the very first presentation of the gospel, the message was repent. There is no true believing the gospel apart from repentance. It’s a counterfeit. It’s not real faith. And that’s why our churches are filled with people who don’t live like real Christians. You cannot find anywhere in the New Testament starting from Matthew and ending up in Revelation, where faith is offered apart from repentance. It’s a false gospel and many are preaching it.
