The month of June was marked by an extraordinary season of ministry across Andhra Pradesh, as the Lord opened doors to minister in Nellore, Ongole, and Guntur. Everywhere we travelled, we encountered a deep hunger for the Word of God and witnessed the transforming power of the Gospel as lives were changed through the truth of His Word.
Nellore – The Power of Truth Brings Freedom
Our outreach began with a three-day open-air convention in Bodduvaripalem, Nellore, where believers from approximately 25 surrounding villages gathered each evening. Around 300 people attended every night, many travelling considerable distances with a sincere desire to hear God's Word.
Each meeting extended late into the night, yet the people remained attentive and eager to receive every truth that was taught. Their spiritual thirst was unmistakable, and throughout the meetings the Holy Spirit ministered deeply to those present. Many found freedom from long-standing spiritual bondages as they embraced the truth of God's Word, reminding us of Jesus' promise:
"You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." (John 8:32)
One morning during our stay, we conducted a Pastors' conference for ministers serving the surrounding villages. The teaching focused on the believer's authority in Christ Jesus and how that authority can be exercised effectively in ministry. The pastors responded with great enthusiasm, encouraged by practical biblical teaching that strengthened them for the work God has entrusted to them.
Every evening provided another reminder of God's faithfulness. Dark clouds gathered and rain repeatedly threatened the open-air meetings, yet each time the Lord graciously held the rain back until the services had concluded. It was a beautiful testimony of His care, allowing the meetings to proceed uninterrupted night after night.
Ongole – Eyes Opened to the Full Meaning of the Cross
From Nellore we travelled to Ongole, where a Pastors' conference had been organised. Before the meetings began, we were cautioned that many of the pastors had a reputation for being difficult to engage. We were told they seldom remained attentive for extended teaching and would often leave if the sessions exceeded the expected time.
However, the Lord had prepared their hearts.
As the teaching on The Divine Exchange unfolded, the atmosphere changed completely. Rather than becoming restless, the pastors engaged wholeheartedly with the teaching, eagerly answering questions and following the Scriptures with genuine excitement. The truths of God's Word unfolded before them with fresh clarity, creating an atmosphere of joyful discovery.
At the conclusion of the meetings, many pastors came forward to testify.
Several shared that their spiritual eyes had been opened in ways they had never experienced before. They expressed that the revelation they had received was far deeper than anything they had previously understood concerning the work of Christ.
One pastor testified that the revelation of Christ's life being manifested within believers brought tremendous encouragement and completely freed him from the fear of death.
Another pastor, who had faithfully preached for many years, said he had never before heard the message of the Cross presented with such depth, power, and redeeming clarity. For him, familiar Scriptures had taken on an entirely new meaning.
Guntur – Discovering God's Complete Provision
Our final series of meetings took place in Guntur, where another large gathering of pastors had assembled.
Once again, the teaching of God's Word produced deep internal transformation. Many acknowledged that although they had faithfully preached the Cross throughout their ministries, they had primarily understood it as God's provision for the forgiveness of sins.
Through Derek Prince's teaching on The Divine Exchange, they began to see the Cross in its fullness—as God's complete provision for every area of the believer's life. They discovered that Christ's sacrifice not only secured forgiveness but also victory, healing, acceptance, righteousness, peace, freedom, and every provision necessary for victorious Christian living.
This fresh understanding brought renewed joy, confidence, and expectation to many who minister faithfully throughout the villages of Andhra Pradesh.
One testimony was repeated consistently wherever we travelled. Many remarked that while they were accustomed to singing for long periods and listening to brief sermons, every teaching session during these meetings extended for more than two and a half hours. Yet no one felt tired or restless. Instead, they testified that they were captivated by every word being taught and were continually eager for the next revelation from Scripture. They repeatedly expressed a desire for the sessions to continue even longer.
During our time in Guntur, we were also privileged to minister at the 15th Anniversary Celebration of a local church. The Lord gave a prophetic message for the congregation, together with specific words for both the senior pastor and his son. The church received these words with great sensitivity, and both the leadership and congregation were deeply strengthened and encouraged by the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
Our final meeting of the outreach was the Sunday morning service at a large church overseeing more than 25 branch churches in the surrounding villages. Approximately 800 people gathered for the service, while many hundreds more joined through the church's live broadcast. The Lord ministered powerfully through His Word, bringing encouragement, strengthening, and fresh faith to both those present and those participating online.
Giving Thanks
As we reflect on this ministry journey, our hearts are filled with gratitude for all that the Lord accomplished. Once again, we witnessed that the transforming power of God's Word continues to bring freedom, revelation, healing, and renewed hope wherever it is faithfully proclaimed. It has been our privilege to serve communities that are spiritually hungry and eager to receive biblical truth, and we give all glory to God for every life that was touched during these meetings.
