Teaching Distribution

Greetings in Jesus Name. The Easter Weekend when we remembered Jesus’ death on the Cross and the Resurrection on Sunday have just been celebrated. In these days of turmoil, it makes us look forward to His 2nd coming knowing this is not our Home we are just passing through. May we fulfil His purpose for the time we are passing through. We know it is His mercy that He is prolonging His coming as he does not want any to perish but that all should be saved.

I want to thank you all our Derek Prince Ministries Southern Africa financial and prayer supporters. We are also blessed with those who have bought Derek’s material either online or phoning or emailing or have visited the shop in Pretoria.

Office maintenance

This past quarter has been a busy one. We had to remove the carpets in 2 large and 2 small offices. With the power outages the housecleaner is not able to vacuum the carpets as she only comes in once a week. The carpets were here when we moved in 18 years ago, I am not sure how long they had been in before then. Cleaning was not improving them. We tiled the floors for better upkeep and hygiene. The office was also painted. Everything is clean and neat now.

Visitors from Abroad

The DPM UK director Neil Cornick and digital team leader Matthew Cook visited the office for a week to see how the latest programs that DPM International and the SA office have moved onto. Google Drive and setting up the Cloud based library and server. Jennette (finances)and myself had two new entry level laptops to make it easier to work during the power outages (my laptop was 10yrs old and had been on overseas FNO meeting trips quite a number of times).

Matthew (DPM digital team from NZ) transferred all our data to the new laptops which took days to organize the new programs. A new derekprince.com website has been launched internationally which the DPMSA website will be joining once it has been set up.  There are many new projects for example we will be preparing the DVDS in the right format to upload them to YouTube and other DPM platforms. Of interest is that South Africans spent over 100,000 hours on DPM YouTube and ranks 4th Internationally! There is plans to create a separate site for each African language group where all of Derek’s material in that language will be available free of charge for world-wide viewers.

Neil and Jennette (financial manager) was here for the Annual Board Meeting and AGM which was attended via zoom by Gillian Hill our chairlady based in the UK, Andrew Venter (DPM Financial advisor) attended the AGM and we had a number of guests attend via Zoom as well.  The financial report was given by Jennette Visser and I gave the outreach and office activity reports both were shared by Power Point Presentations.  I gave a history from 2019 where Derek’s teaching has been distributed in the 11 countries in Africa and all the office activities.

You can find this on the www.derekprince.co.za website/resources/special reports (2) the 2nd one is a very interesting power point of the trips retired Pastor Stemmet has done across vast areas of the Cape taking loads of Derek’s Afrikaans books to this predominantly Afrikaans speaking community

He is leaving tomorrow for his 11th trip and will be visiting some new towns and revisiting others.  He has kept in contact with many that he gave Derek’s books too and will be ministering. He buys Bibles wherever he can get them at a good prince to give to the people.

They are desperate for Bibles and Derek’s teaching.  Many towns (50) do not have a resident pastor.  Please pray for his safety and the safety of the vehicle.  He had repairs done as his last trip was very challenged.  Feel free to make any donations to Ps. Stemmet trips.  He will be away with his caravan and truck and dog for 6 weeks. He is already planning Lord willing to go back to visit Venda and Namibia.

We managed to include a day trip to Pilansberg Nature Reserve.  Neil and Matthew were pleased to be out in the bush and saw a pride of lions with cubs who were tracking a group of Zebra but they missed their kill because of too much  public in the area.

Following their visit, we had the DPM INTERNATIONAL FNO (FELLOWSHIP OF NATIONAL OFFICES) meeting via Zoom.  It was good to link up and hear the testimonies of what Derek ‘s teaching is doing world-wide.   We had a breakout time of prayer in groups on Zoom.

An application was submitted for a non-profit free Office 365 Pro license.  We thank the Lord this was approved on the 2nd submission.

We are having a look at the options of another telephone company that may offer better services and other options.

I sense all this work in the past quarter is preparation for the increase in contacts we will definitely be receiving and those being referred to us by other DPM world-wide offices.  There has been an increase in and demand for Bible Study material, prayer requests and for people wanting counselling.  We are setting up a database with approved counsellors who can help in the 11 countries we are responsible for.

We had a visit from Peter Lindop the DPM Africa director and his 2 sons who are involved with getting Derek’s teaching archived and uploaded to Wikipedia.  The project is to capture all Derek’s teaching especially in the foreign and African language material. The plan is to capture history of Derek’s visits to SA and Southern Africa (Zambia/Zimbabwe) As well as the history of the countries we have been involved with for the past 38yrs. If you were at one of Derek’s meetings when he visited SA, Zambia or Zimbabwe PLEASE send me the details we would love to add them to the history of Derek’s visits.

Peter visited the office on Friday 28th April with  DPM Zimbabwe director Tich and DPM Kenya director Geoffrey Auma and his wife will be visiting.  There is a lot of work ahead to capture all the history of DPMSA and the material in all 13 African languages and the declaration cards, books, CDS and DVDS that have been produced.  We will be launching the new website soon and plan to have a website for each language group in our region. We had a lovely time of fellowship under the lapa next to the pool for lunch.

Mega Voice Solar players for distribution

257 players were distributed to all 13 countries quite some time before we hit lockdown.

We plan on purchasing another 20 Mega Voice Solar players for distribution.  We have had requests from one blind person in Zimbabwe who has been listening to Derek’s radio programs for 13 yrs. he will receive a player and 2 other blind people in SA who we will give them as well.

It has been very amazing that even though so much of Derek’s teaching is now available free of charge we have had some very generous donations. Many who have been accessing the YouTube and other material contact the office to donate.  We are really so grateful as it helps us to GIVE more of Derek’s teaching away to Bible Study Groups, Pastors, Student Pastors , Prisons Rehab Canters and those going on  outreach in Africa.

New Books

We had the new “Birth of a Breakthrough”

We have 10 books that are in various languages that are in the process of editing and printing in various African languages. We trust we will be able to get them printed this year.

The Life’s Changing Spiritual Power a compendium of 6 books is being translated and will be printed in Chichewa in Kenya and distributed in Malawi. ZIMBABWE NEW BOOKS the 1st 5 books have been translated and printed in SHONA, What is so Important about the Cross, How to Pass from Blessing to Curse, Praying for the Government, Shaping History through Prayer and Fasting, Will you Intercede, and 3 books in TONGA (Kariba/Victoria Falls area) Exchange at the Cross, Founded on the Rock, How to Pass from Curse to Blessing, Expelling Demons for Zimbabwe.

We continue to receive new visitors as well as regular shoppers to the DPMSA shop. One lady came and asked if she could just sit in the office to experience His presence and peace. We ministered to her and she left encourage. Many have come in discouraged and left encouraged after the testimonies were shared on how Derek’s teaching is making an impact and blessing in people’s lives. It is reaching many and being applied in people’s lives and ministry. Many are requesting Derek’s Study Material.

We received an increase in email enquiries and prayers requests from various social media and sites as well as directly from people in Southern Africa.

The Afrikaans Praying for the Government is being recaptured digitally by Stienie and a reprint will be done this year. It was printed in about 1980. It is very relevant today we desperately need to pray for our country.

Update on Ukraine and Armenia

Update on Ukraine and Armenia to continue to battle with the invasion and a next wave of invasion imminent in Armenia.  PLEASE pray for these regions and our Directors Vlad (Ukraine) and Vazgen (Armenia) and both families. Our DPM EE director Brano’s father went to be with the Lord recently.  Pray for E.Europe as Brano travels between the countries who have been swamped with refugees mothers and children with no father’s or brothers over 18yrs of age who were not allowed to leave because of the war. Serbia Moldova. We had the sad news that the DPM translator Vesna went to be with the Lord after a battle with cancer. She translated 20 books the last being Shaping History through Prayer and Fasting. Do pray for her husband Dragan and their 7 year old daughter at this time.

Update from Pastor Stemmet's Current Trip (No. 11)

Pastor Stemmet left on the 10th April heavily loaded with Derek’s books. 48 Afrikaans large 800pg Foundation books, 40 Appointment in Jerusalem, 40 Oorwinning deur die Vader a compilation of 5 books, 13 Bought with the Blood/Versoening books, 20 sets of the Foundation DVDS and some other titles and CDS.  the 1st day he did 530km to Stella region “Boereplaas” resort for a stopover. The vehicle was running well. No potholes and very little traffic. The next was to friends in Upington 1240km from home in Rayton. The next morning to Springbok got there at 12:30 after travelling a long distance in desert terrain. The next morning to Alexander bay parked his caravan at friends there. The tow hitch on the trailer needed repair. A kind friend was able to weld and fix it. The wind was blowing  very strongly and very cold.

Pastor Stemmet joined the Sunday cell group which was arranged by Suzzie van Wyk who runs local café. He gave them Bibles, books, Bible Study material and many other study material items. There are 6 people in this group. Jeannie and June Mike and Gail Suzzie and another Jeannie. They all need a lot of prayer to take the message of the gospel out in this area. Pray for a huge harvest for the Lord. They stand in this place far from any spiritual input. Thank the Lord they have Derek’s teaching and Bibles and study material.

The next stop was Port Nolloth   Werner en Sonja and children he met in 2019.  They are his contacts now in Port Nolloth. He spent some days with them teaching and encouraging them. He had the caravan park and beach to himself at McDougal bay 6km outside Port Nolloth. Ps Stemmet has been in WhatsApp contact with them for 4 yrs now.  He believes the Lord is going to use them in Port Nolloth. 21st April in Van Ryn’s dorp. He rode in rain and mist but when he arrived there the sky opened and he set up camp. He was just 10km north of Papendorp where there is a large coloured fishing community. Right near there is a white squatter camp. And 15km south of Doringbaai another large community then near here is another squatter camp but not many people. “There is so much work here to do for the Lord.  Very cold and misty and homesick"

Doringbaai young men who gave their lives to the Lord please pray for them, that the Lord will hold them close to Himself and protect them from the evil one.

Doringbaai is far from everything and they don’t have the spiritual support systems., my heart is heavy as I have to leave them but leave them in the strong hands of Jesus. Pray and agree with me for their protection. One thing with mission work you meet so many nice people then you have to leave them behind. This group are now busy with the Foundations book.

Sunday 31st on my way to Graafwater I received very nice Bibles and Clothes to distribute there. He was going to stay there for 10 to 12 days.  It was very cold and even colder at night.   His travel companion Suriets (dog) was sleeping under the blankets.  Then he will be going onto Calvinia.

Derek’s books we sent with Pastor Stemmet for the outreach in the Cape

Thank you

I trust this newsletter has inspired and encouraged you as it has us here at DPMSA. We are excited to see all that the Lord will do this year and in the coming years till He comes. There is so much work that still needs to be done in reaching the nations he has entrusted us with. You can be a part of it by praying and giving into the ministry outreach.

Maybe you would consider purchasing some of Derek’s material to give to those you come in contact with on a daily basis I am sure they will be blessed or to let them know where they can get Derek’s teaching free online.

May the Lord bless and keep you, may He make His face to shine on you. May he be gracious to you and give you His shalom (Peace).
