The motivation of the new life is to do the will of God. That was the motivation of Jesus Himself. He said, “My food is to do the will of God, finish the work that He gave Me. He who does the will of God abides forever.” You see, when you renounce your own will, when you say no to yourself or meet the condition, and unite your will with God’s will, you become as powerful and undefeatable as the will of God.
